Director's Profile

Dr. Anupama has done her Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia University, a Master of Business Administration from Puna University, HR Analytics from IIM Rohtak, and is a Certified Leader of Learning from Harvard X. She has more than 25 years of teaching and industry experience. She is a seasoned faculty member in the area of HR & OB.She has been active as a Consultant, Trainer, and Researcher in many organizations of repute. Her areas of interest are Organizational Behaviour, Organizational Development Intervention, Training and Development, Strategic HRM, Soft Skills, etc.

She has conducted training programs on Academic Leadership, Organizational Transformation and Change Management, Building Interpersonal Skills, Developing Personalities, Team Building, and Leadership with many organizations like Osram, Sukam, Indian Oil, SRF, etc.She has handled various portfolios in IBS Gurgaon, like Academic Coordinator, Head-Alumni Relations, and Area Head.

She held the position of Director – Corporate Relations for more than 13 years and has experience of placing more than 6,000 students along with her team in diverse sectors across various profiles and geographies.She has presented various research papers at national and international conferences and workshops and has many national and international publications to her credit. One of her research papers on “Employee Engagement” has been a lead article in the Indian Journal of Industrial Relations (A publication of SRIRAM College).

She has authored 3 books in the area of OB and HRM. She was selected as one of the Reviewing Committee Members of InSITE Informing Science & IT Education Conference, Salford, England. She was also selected as one of the Reviewing Committee Members for SAMF held in Pakistan (Lahore) sponsored by AMDISA.She won the Best Teacher Award at IBS Gurgaon in 2012 based on teaching feedback.

Infrastructure & Facilities

IBS-Gurgaon was established in 1995, with the objective of providing quality management education.IBS Gurgaon has shifted to its own spacious campus from June 2012. This state-of-the-art campus is located in the south-western part of the city, on Golf Course Extension Road, Gurgaon.

Faisal Husain Siddique

Class of 2003 | IBS Gurgaon

Faisal is an alumnus of the Class of 2003 of IBS Gurgaon. He joined ICICI InfoTech Ltd. as an executive in the sales department. In 2004, he became an Account Manager and is responsible for Business Development in the Northern Region.

He later joined the leading ERP solution provider SAP India Pvt. Ltd as an Alliance Manager and is responsible for Channel Management. He loves to travel and drive. He wants to establish his own business in his hometown Lucknow and contribute towards the development of his state. He gives all credit to his mother for his success.

Tamal Dutta Chowdhury

Class of 2000 | IBS Gurgaon

Tamal was hired from campus by GE Capital for their India Bank Cards Division. He then moved to two start-ups and grew to management ranks. Next, he joined Oracle to manage their ERP Receivables team for Europe, Middle-east and Africa. Finally, he joined his present organization Unisys, where he looks after the entire internal Enterprise Applications Practice and heads the Global SA Division in India. His team is involved in Global Delivery of ERP, Supply Chain, Knowledge Management, Business Intelligence, Professional Services, and other IT assignments. He is also a qualified PMP from PMI, USA, and a Mathematical Statistician.

Tamal enjoys playing cricket (he is the captain of his corporate cricket team), watching Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns, esoteric and Vedic astrology, tarot-reading, quizzing, traveling, meditation, and reading management books. His interests include Project and Portfolio Management, IT consulting, and Quality.

Student Activities

Students have formed several clubs such as the Marketing Musketeers, the Cyborgs, the Quiz Master, and the Bookworms, and they organize and conduct competitions and events.
