IBSAT 2025 – Application Guidelines

Important Instructions

Before filling out the online application, please carefully read the eligibility criteria given on the reverse of the voucher and also on the website ibsindia.org. Gather the following information to complete the process:

  1. Ensure you have a valid email address, telephone number, and postal address. These should remain active throughout the admission process.
  2. Keep marksheets of Class X, Class XII, Graduation, and any other professional qualification ready for calculating percentage of marks. The percentage must be calculated as per the rules of the Board/University/Institution you are graduating from.
    • If your institution awards GPA/CGPA, convert it into percentage using the institution’s conversion scheme.
    • If no scheme exists, divide the obtained CGPA by the maximum CGPA and multiply by 100.

Estimated time to complete the application: 20–30 minutes.

Opening Screen

The first screen displays two fields: Application No. and Password.

Online Purchase

You will have received an email with your application number and password. Use these to log in.

Offline Purchase

Use the application number (printed at the top of the voucher) as login ID, and the Voucher No. (under the scratch area) as the password.

Once a valid login ID and password are entered, you’ll be taken to the “Change Password” section.

Change Your Password

After setting a new password, you will be redirected to the login page. Use your new credentials to log in and proceed to the IBSAT 2025 Online Application Form.

Filling the Application Form

A. Profile

Enter your details: Name (as in academic records), Date of Birth, Gender, Citizenship, Address, Email ID, and Telephone Numbers.

  • As all communication will be through email, ensure your email ID is correct.
  • After clicking Proceed, review your entries.
  • To make changes, click Back. To confirm, click Submit.

B. PROGRAM & PAST ACADEMIC RECORD

Select the program you are applying for based on your eligibility for the program. The eligibility requirements are given on the reverse of the voucher and also on the website ibsindia.org

School/Intermediate

  • Board: Enter board name.
  • Year of Passing: Select from drop-down.
  • Marks (%): Round off to the nearest digit. (Example: 81.01–81.49 = 81; 81.50 = 82).
  • Medium: Choose from drop-down.

Graduation

  • Title: Select from drop-down, or choose “Other” if not listed.
  • Duration: Select program length in years.
  • Year of Passing: Select from drop-down.
    • If completed: Enter final year of passing.
    • If studying: Enter likely completion year.
  • Marks (%): Enter aggregate percentage (rounded off).
  • If completed: Enter final aggregate.
  • If studying: Enter aggregate till date.
  • Medium: Choose from drop-down.
  • University Name: Enter affiliated University.
  • College: Enter college name.
  • State/City: Enter location details.

Post-Graduation/Professional Qualifications (for PhD Applicants)

Title: Select from drop-down or enter under “Other”.

  • Specialization: Select specialization.
  • University Name: Enter University.
  • Duration: Select in years.
  • Year of Passing: Select from drop-down.
  • Marks (%): Enter aggregate, rounded off.
  • Medium: Select from drop-down.
  • Mode of Study: Indicate Full-time/Part-time/Distance.

After filling, click Proceed to review data. To edit, click Back. To confirm, click Submit.

C. Photograph

Upload a recent color photograph (full face till shoulders) in JPG or GIF format.

  • Size: Not more than 25 KB.

  • Dimensions: Approx. 140–160 pixels.D. Finish

    Specify how you are applying:

    Declaration

    You will be required to agree to the declaration statement, affirming the correctness of the information provided.

    On clicking Submit, your data will be saved. Then:

    • Through IBSAT 2025, or
    • By submitting valid scores (2023 onwards) of GMAT®/CAT/XAT/NMAT by GMAC™.
      • Click Login with your application number and password.
      • You’ll be directed to your profile page.
      • From here, you may schedule the IBSAT 2025 test or provide your valid GMAT®/CAT/XAT/NMAT by GMAC™ scores.
