How to Apply for IBSAT 2025
The application form is common for admission to the MBA/PGPM programs at all IBS campuses and the PhD program at IBS Hyderabad.
The IBSAT Bulletin can be purchased in the following ways by paying Rs. 1,800:
- Online: After submitting your details, you will be directed to the payment page. Once the payment is successful, you will receive a confirmation email and the IBSAT Bulletin within one week.
- Marketing Offices: You can also purchase the IBSAT Bulletin in person from our marketing offices by paying the fee in cash.

Eligibility Criteria
For MBA / PGPM Programs
- Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks, with English as the medium of instruction.
- Minimum 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern).
- Applicants in their final year of graduation are eligible to apply, provided they complete all requirements (including practicals/viva/assignments) by May 31, 2026.
- Proof of graduation (marksheets and certificates) must be submitted by November 1, 2026, failing which admission will remain provisional.
- Candidates not meeting the English-medium requirement must submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2026.
- Eligibility will be verified from August 2026 onwards. Responsibility for meeting the criteria rests solely with the candidate.
For PhD Program in Management
- Graduation (any discipline) with 50% and above marks, with English as the medium of instruction, and:
- Post-graduation in Management (full-time, specialization in Marketing, Finance, HRM, or Operations) from a UGC-approved university with 55% and above marks, or
- Post-graduation (full-time) in Economics, Commerce, Psychology, Sociology, Public Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, or allied disciplines from a UGC-recognized university in India or abroad with 55% and above marks. Students admitted under this category are required to complete the first-year MBA courses as a prerequisite. or
- A professional qualification like CFA/CA/CWA/CS with 55% and above marks.
- Candidates not meeting the English-medium requirement must submit TOEFL/NELT/IELTS scores by May 31, 2026.
Admission Test: IBSAT
- IBSAT is an online aptitude test conducted by The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed-to-be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956).
- It is a computer-based test (CBT) of 2 hours duration, comprising multiple-choice questions that assess quantitative techniques, data interpretation, data adequacy, vocabulary, analytical reasoning, and reading comprehension.
Alternate Tests Accepted:
Scores from GMAT® / NMAT by GMAC™ / CAT / XAT (from 2023 onwards) are accepted in place of IBSAT 2025. Candidates with these scores are exempted from IBSAT.

Selection Process
- Candidates shortlisted based on IBSAT 2025 or GMAT®/NMAT/CAT/XAT scores are invited for the Selection Process in February 2026.
- The process includes:
- Micro Presentation
- Personal Interview
Admission Decision
Final admission is based on:
- Past academic record
- Performance in the Micro Presentation and Personal Interview
